I just found this board the other day. I wish I would have located it sooner and it would have saved me a lot of work! I have a NH TC40D on order (finally) after much comparison, research and thought over the last 7 months. Thanks to this board I feel as I made the right decision even though we have always had JD and my old 41 B still runs great. I have signed on as a member and will keep updates on how the NH does for me, plus I will have some questions I'm sure!

I'm sure that you'll love it. I bought my TC40D 1 year ago(with FEL and SS) and have enjoyed every hour working with it. My wife also likes to use it. I was lucky enough to have one of the old farmers from yesterdays tractors message board tell me about this site. Between the 2 sites almost any tractor question can be answered quickly. ....

BTW- go to the "tractor tales" discussion forum of www.ytmag.com if you really want to get a good laugh on tractor related stuff. These are the guys that told me about this website and helped me quite a bit when I "inherited" my F12. They are also great comics. Tell them F12tom sent you. ....

Chris, sounds like we may have some things in common. dI still have my Dad's 1960 JD 630 in the barn but made the switch to Blue. I looked at blue, red, orange and green and tried to keep an open mind. I've known only green from the time that I could walk (abt. 55 yrs. ago). I demo'ed all four and the NH TC40D just felt like a better tractor for several reasons. Actually red and green were fairly close but apparently the paint is more expensive.
Whatever... I think that we (and many others) made a good choice....What a long wait between order date and delivery. Good Luck ....
